1.Drooling

An infant's drooling may cause a rash around the mouth and chin. An allergy caused by infant drooling appears in the form of redness, swelling, and sensitivity on the area that comes into contact with saliva , often at the mouth but may also extend to the neck and chest

2.Food allergy

Food allergy may be the cause of facial allergies in infants if there is no other cause or irritant.

In younger children, milk and eggs are often the main cause of food allergies, but in older children who can eat larger foods, certain other foods may cause their allergies.

Examples of foods that cause allergic reactions in some people are: peanuts, wheat, soy, and nuts.

Food allergy appears in the form of redness and irritation of the skin, and some symptoms may appear, such as: swelling of the mouth, tongue, and lips due to the occurrence of an allergic reaction to food, and then you should consult a doctor immediately and avoid eating these foods.

3.Soaps, care and cleaning products

    • Wash your baby's clothes with hypoallergenic detergents.
    • Washing the baby's bedding every week, to avoid the accumulation of dust and dirt on it.
    • Introduce food to the infant's diet gradually, and pay attention to the substances he is allergic to, to avoid them.

    Allergies may disappear on their own without the need for treatment, although there are some cases that require a review and consult a doctor, here are the most important:

    • If infant facial sensitivity spreads or worsens over time
    • If the allergy appears with other signs of infection and inflammation, such as: sores, bleeding, or fluid leakage.
    • If the facial sensitivity appears in infants in conjunction with one of the following symptoms: fever, excessive crying, and coughing .
    • If the appearance of an allergic reaction is accompanied by one of the following symptoms, then you should see a doctor immediately, because they indicate a severe allergic reaction:
    wheezing.
